Welcome to ZoidLan's Zoidpedia™. You can find here some common terms used in Zoids or any other information related to Zoids_ Ver 1.0_ --B-- --Battle Mode: The rules of the battle. They are identified by a special number. Each battlemode has a different set of rules allowing for different types of matches. Such as one-on-one_ --Black Box: Another term used for an organoid that is built into the Zoid. See Organoid_ --C-- --CAS: Changing Armor System: Designed specifically by Dr. Toros in order to change Liger Zero’s armor configurations as quick as possible_ --Charged particle Cannon: Extremely powerful weapon. Possibly the most deadliest of all. Some argue that it is so powerful, that it can literally destroy a whole planet. It can evaporize anything instantly. Very few Zoids have it. Only 5 Zoids are known to have it: The GenoSaurer, Genobreaker, Deathsaurer, Deathstinger, and the Berserk Fury_ --Class Ranking: Ranking of teams based on the number of victories. Class A being the highest while Class C being the lowest. Class S is reserved for those who have won the Royal Cup Tournament and any outstanding teams_ --Command System Freeze: When a Zoid is no longer able to battle after suffering a critical hit to a major component or is almost destroyed_ --D-- --Dark Judge: An A.I. droid similar to the Zoid Battle Commission judge with some exceptions. It reports to the Backdraft and has a very distinct personality_ --E-- --Emergency System: System created to save the pilot’s life if in extreme danger through ejection. It can be activated manually or automatically_ --G-- --Gattling Gun: A gun that can fire shots at a fast pace. Mostly used to blanket enemy with fire_ --H-- --Hit Points: Points awarded for the number of hits made to an opponent even if they are not defeated_ --I-- --Individual Points: Points given to individual pilots for defeating opponents_ --J-- --Judge: An A.I. droid that supervises Zoid battles. Reports any irregularities to the Zoid Battle Commission and is authorized to make any decisions, including use of force_ --Judge Capsule: The capsule that is used to transport a judge to the site of the battle. It can withstand the pressures of re-entry through the atmosphere and can launch itself back into space_ --Judge Sattelite: Sattelite that houses judges in orbit. Launches Judge capsules into the battle area_ --L-- --Laser Vulcan Gun: Designed specifically for the Shadow Fox by Dr. Leon. Very powerful and efficient. It can shoot as fast as a gattling gun while being almost as precise as a rifle. So powerful, it can go through opponents, allowing for various Zoids to get eliminated with one shot_ --M-- --Mercenary: Warrior who works freelance, as in for whomever pays is willing to pay him/her_ --O-- --Organoid: Highly advanced A.I. that increases a Zoids fighting ability. It can learn from its past mistakes and can memorize opponents movements. Thus allowing it to predict the opponents next move or strategy, giving it the advantage_ --P-- --Prize Money: Money awarded to a team for winning a battle. Can be negotiable_ --R-- --Royal Cup Tournament: A tournament held every four years to see which warrior is the best along with his team. All Class A teams are automatically qualified and if sucessful, will be promoted to Class S. The highest Class B team is also qualified along with another team that wins the “raffle”. In order to win, a team must win 5 battles and get to the finish line first. The finish point is unknown until the 5 battles are won. Once all the members of a team are unable to battle, the team is automatically out of the tournament_ --S-- --Sleeper: A Zoid that has no pilot but can operate. May or may not be controlled remotely_ --Stabilizers: The Stabilizer Jonts are what keep the Zoid stay upright and manuever its parts. A very important component_ --Stealth Device: Device which makes a Zoid virtually invisible_ --T-- --Transport: Vehicle used to move Zoids from one place to another. Whale King, Gustav, ect. --U-- --Ultimate X: Zoid with a built-in organoid. Said to be almost unbeatable. Only certain pilots can handle such Zoids. Extremely rare, only two are known to exist. Previously thought to be a mere legend_ --Unathorized Battle: A battle that has not been approved by the Zoid Battle Commission. Such battles are illegal and are punishible if caught in the act_ --Unsanctioned Battle: See Unathorized Battle_ --Z-- --Zoid Gear: Registration device that holds important such as name, ID#, team, and other important facts_ --Zoid Trials: Trials that are held before the Royal Cup Tournament to decide a warrior’s personal ranking and gather information about teams which is then made availible to the public. It consists of various tasks such as an obstacle course which demostrates agility, speed, and control_ Back to top |
